“Handcrafted Gelato on a Stick” is their website description. All I can say was YUM YUM (why else would they be on this blog?) !!!

My favorite gelato is melon. And Popbar made it to perfection.
Popbar made this busy real estate broker the happiest person on a 95 degree running around day.

Mantao Chinese Sandwich

I had little time yesterday to have dinner. To be exact, 15 minutes.

Walked by this Mantao Chinese Sandwich places so many times … then again last night.
It’s a sign that I should give it a try.
Ordered Spicy Pork + Fresh Watermelon Juice (in pic)
Wow
Wow
Wow
SOOOOOOO GOOD!
The sandwich bread was like a Chinese bun (called Mantao) with sesame seeds.
The pork was juicy and tender and spicy.

YUM YUM YUM

I always love freshly made (comparing to packaged ones) pork jerky.  My sis likes the beef jerky.  Always Always.

After recent visit to Singapore and Taipei (Taiwan), I crave for these Asia snacks even more.

Went to preview couple apartments today in the area for buyers; walked by Ling Kee; of course I had to sample the pork jerky.  YUMMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Come and check them out yourselves:

Thank you, Eleanor, for introducing me for my new favorite coffee spot, Ciao for Now.

Love this little place that tucks off the busy 6th Avenue that offers great baked goods and amazing coffee. It’s simple, and little, and quiet.

Orwasher’s Bakery

When walking, I love walking into unfamiliar blocks. That day, I found Orwasher’s Bakery.

It’s beautiful handmade breads.
It’s just beautiful.
When you walk into the store, it’s a beautiful world with the wonderful smell of freshly baked breads. It’s picture perfect and makes Polly a very happy girl.
Can’t wait until Dan gets home so I can cook up a meal to go with the pretty breads.
