YUM YUM
I LOVE burgers, juicy ones with good fries on the side.
brgr is another good place with good burger that’s not too big; the sweet potato fries and fried crispy onions are yummy to go on the side.

It has been a cold cold winter. This little heart inside my cappuccino always gives me a smile then warm me up from my palm.
I fell in love with Joe The Art of Coffee few years ago at the Waverly Place location.
So happy now they have quite a few locatons all over town to warm me up.

I have been wanting to try Hill Country for a long time. No one would go with me :( Finally, Susanna and I decided to be spontaneous one night and just went. YEAH!
The Texas style decor reminded me of my days in Texas. LOVE it how causal it is and LOVE it that they serve BBQ with couple pieces of white bread. I got Jalapeno and Cheese sausage (made in Texas) and the Brisket Moist (pork fat fules!) with Green Bean Casserole with Fried Onions (so much better than my own …) and Mac and Cheese. YUM YUM YUM … with Texas style lemonade in big glass jug. Of course I never made it to dessert and walked from the restaurant all the way down to West Village to digest …

I was really impressed with Sullivan Street Bakery; so I can’t wait to try COMPANY - it’s casual community dining style with simply and good ingridients.
Moonhee and I went to check it out on February 25 for lunch. OMG ~ it’s refreshing and simply fabulous!!! We shared Butter Lettuce Salad (with roasted butternut squash, roasted pumpkin seeds, lemon and olive oil dressing) and Boscaiola pizza (tomato, mushroom, buffalo mozzarrella, pork sausage, onion, chilli). YUM YUM YUM

I had a lousy lunch at a beautiful sunny day; so I decided to walk off the bad lunch and see what I could find. I was in Hell’s Kitchen; one of my favorite food neighborhood.
Walking up 9th Avenue from West 42nd Street, I was stopped by the wonderful smell and the cutie door front of Amy’s Bread. I went in; and told the smiling face that I was not satisfied with a bad lunch and was looking for something good. The super friendly staff strongly recommended his favorite item, fig + hazelnut whole wheat scone, to me. Oh my goodness ~ that was heavenly!!! Amy’s Bread has been known for artisan breads … but that scone … can’t wait to go back and try more ♥

This is my little secret snack spot in Chelsea for a long time. Tebaya offers yummy Japanese fried chicken wings (the chicken cutlet sandwich is delicious too). I love the peppery but not too spicy hot flavor; they do have hot sauce if you need it.
The people working there are so nice too ~
おいしい (pronounce “oishi” = delicious)

It’s been great to find spots like this around the city to meet with people.
I LOVE Café Grumpy in Chelsea; and Arte Around the Corner (in picture) in Upper West Side.
